Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are your bags made to order?
Yes. Most Anji Collective bags are made to order by skilled artisans in Lagos, Nigeria. Each piece is handcrafted one at a time, which means your bag is made specifically for you.

2. How long will my order take?
Pre-orders typically ship within 5–10 weeks of your order date. You will receive a confirmation email with your estimated fulfillment date. If we have your item in stock, processing time will be shorter — we will always communicate your timeline clearly.

3. Do you accept returns or exchanges?
All sales are final. Because our bags are handmade to order, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. We encourage you to review product descriptions and photos carefully before purchasing.

4. My bag looks slightly different from the photo — is something wrong?
Not at all. Every Anji Collective bag is made by hand, one at a time. Slight variations in pattern placement, stitching, fabric texture, and color are a natural and beautiful result of the handcraft process. These are not imperfections — they are proof that your bag was made by a human artisan, and they make your piece truly one of a kind.

5. What fabrics do you use?
We work primarily with 100% cotton Ankara (also known as African wax print) and Asooke, a hand-woven Nigerian textile traditionally used for ceremonial dress. Some styles also feature cane weaving. All fabrics are sourced from vendors in Nigeria.

6. How do I care for my bag?
Interior: Gently wipe with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth to clean the velvet lining. Exterior: Spot clean with a mild detergent and soft brush using gentle circular motions. Air dry completely. Avoid soaking or machine washing.

7. Do the bags come in different colors?
Yes! Most styles are available in multiple colorways. Each listing will show the available options. For the Anji Bangle Set, colors are randomly assorted — you will receive a curated mix with your order.

8. Where are your bags made?
Every Anji Collective bag is handcrafted in Lagos, Nigeria by skilled artisans who specialize in working with Ankara and Asooke textiles.
